Our certified organic veg boxes offer a sustainable and affordable alternative to supermarket shopping – much of which is grown on our five-acre family-run smallholding, Bangors Organic. Our gardens have been certified organic since 2003, ensuring that only the most nutritious, ethically-conscious produce reaches our customers.
Meet the Founder
We are a small, family-run business that prides itself in ‘doing things the right way.’
After Bangors House had sat unoccupied for nearly a decade, we bought it in 2001 and embarked upon a lengthy renovation to restore it to the beautiful Victorian farmhouse it once was – what would become the location for our B&B and organic restaurant. The 5 acres accompanying the house provided the perfect opportunity for us to also realise our vision for a fully organic garden certified by the Soil Association, to feed not only us but our business too – something it’s been doing for over 17 years.
With the instalment of an 11KW wind turbine to power the house and a 60 metre bore-hole to water our crops, we are very proud of the sustainable, ecologically-conscious way we operate at Bangors Organic and are delighted to be able to share that carefully nurtured home-grown produce with our local community via Bangors Organic Veg Boxes.
